This Bluefin Tuna sculpture is made of 6061 Aluminum and African Mahogany. The fins, tail, and bones consist of 3 layers of 3/16" aluminum polished to a Mirror Finish. The contour of the three layers add definition and dimension to the piece far beyond what can be achieved with a single layer of metal.

The African Mahogany is toned with water based Dye and then finished with High Gloss water based lacquer. Dyes are used to prevent clouding the beautiful grains and patterns of the wood and to bring out the vibrant color of mahogany.

This Bluefin approximately 58" long, 30" high and 2 1/8" thick. It is also available in custom sizes as small as 36".

Each piece is signed and comes complete with the wall hanger, screws, and related hardware. The Sailfish requires minimal assembly. The piece ships fully crated to prevent damage.
